PRESENTATION BY MS. ANNICK PATRICIA MONGO, CEO OF API TO FEMALE SENATORS AND SENATE EMPLOYEES ON THE THEME: "ENTREPRENEURSHIP: A Tool for Empowerment of Congolese Women"

The Managing Director of the Agency for Investment Promotion (API) gave a presentation on the following theme: "ENTREPRENEURSHIP: A Tool for Empowerment of Congolese Women", during the celebration ceremony of International Women's Day (March 8, 2025) held on March 28, 2025 at the Parliament Palace for female senators and women employed at the Senate.
She demonstrated that Entrepreneurship is:
1/ A lever for Economic Independence
2/ A weapon against inequalities and stereotypes
3/ A means of creating jobs for other women and promoting Female leadership
She also enlightened the audience about the tax and customs incentives available to very small, small and medium-sized enterprises as well as startups.
This was followed by a fruitful and frank exchange on the possibilities of assisting our mothers and sisters who are in the informal sector to smoothly transition towards formal entrepreneurship and the support offered by API in this area.
